VISITORS CENTRE
Located near the Desert Gardens Hotel, this centre provides information on local history, geology, flora, fauna and Aboriginal culture as well as the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and educational gifts.
COMPLIMENTARY SHUTTLE BUS
A free shuttle bus circulates the Resort daily (10:30am – 6:00pm & 6:30pm – 12:30am) and departs approximately every 20 minutes.
RESORT SHOPPING CENTRE
The Centre includes a bank, hair & beauty salon, post office, supermarket, newsagency, Tour & Information Centre, Rock Photographics, food outlets and specialty shops. The walk to the Resort Shopping Centre takes approximately 5 minutes from Sails in the Desert and Desert Gardens Hotels and 10 minutes from the Outback Pioneer Hotel.
HAIR & BEAUTY SALON
Ayers Rock Resort Hair and Beauty Salon is located in Town Square next to the T-Shirt Shop. The salon is open 9am-6pm on weekdays, opens late Thursday nights by appointment only, and 9am -4pm on saturdays.
MULGARA GALLERY
Mulgara Gallery is located at the Sails in the dsert resort and provides an unsupassed opportunity to experience thwe best in aboriginal culture, artworks and artifacts. Many of the artists making presentations at Mulgara have won international recognition for their work.
Aboriginal dot painting, didgeredoos, rainsticks and many other artifacts such as ornamental spears and bomerangs are also available.
Mulgara Gallery usually has an ‘Artist & Craftsperson in Residence’ program, including popular Indigenous Artist, Maureen Nampitjinpa Hudson, who exhibits and sells her work worldwide. At Mulgara it is possible to see some of these local aboriginal artists creating their artworks.
Mulgara Gallery has many of these artworks available for purchase and these provide a valuable memento or souvenir of the Great Australian Outback.

Ayers Rock Resort Airport
Fly direct to the heart of Australia …
You can fly daily from Perth, Sydney, Cairns and Alice Springs direct to Ayers Rock Airport. Flights from Darwin, Brisbane and Melbourne connect from Alice Springs through to Ayers Rock Airport.
Ayers Rock Airport is conveniently located just six kilometres from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort (10 minutes’ travel). The airport services both fixed and rotary winged aircraft and receives up to on average 350,000 – 400,000 commercial passengers per year. It’s also a popular stopping off point for private pilots and passengers travelling in their own aircraft.
From Ayers Rock Airport, you can enjoy scenic desert flights over Uluru and Kata Tjuta.

Airport Transfers
Complimentary return coach transfers from Ayers Rock Airport to Voyages Ayers Rock Resort meet every scheduled flight. The return transfer to Ayers Rock Resort Airport collects you from your hotel approximately 2 hours prior to flight departure please check with reception for exact time.
Self Drive
There is no better way to explore Central Australia than at your own pace. Pre-booking of hire cars is recommended. Alternatively, you can organise a hire car at Ayers Rock Airport.
Coach Transfers
Coach transfers are available and operate services between Alice Springs, Kings Canyon, and Uluru. Travel by luxury air-conditioned coach through beautiful desert landscapes and interesting scenery.
