This 6 Day Photographic Tour combines the beauty, natural wonder and timelessness of some of the best locations in Central Australia with a photographic focus. For the enthusiastic photographer, you will receive tips and tuition from one of Australia’s most highly regarded photographers, with a myriad of opportunities to photograph awesome scenery and wildlife. You will learn about light and composition and discover how to create photographic opportunities as we travel to the most extraordinary locations.

Tour Price Includes:
Professional guide, travel in an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle, all meals (as listed on itineraries), camping equipment and fees, pillow, sleeping bag hire, reference books, drinking water (please provide your own bottle), and park entry fee.

What you need to bring:
All camera equipment, spare charged batteries, extra storage devices, laptop computer, torch, a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle (1.5 liters), walking shoes/boots, sleeping bag (if you prefer to use your own), toiletries, swimwear, towel, camera, comfortable and casual clothing for 6 days.

Daily Highlights
Day 1 – Depart Alice Springs, Imanpa Art Gallery, Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, Uluru including Mala, Kuniya and base walks, Uluru Sunset, Photographic Workshop
Day 2 – Uluru Sunrise, Valley of the Winds walk at Kata Tjuta, view Mount Conner, 4 x 4 through Curtain Springs Station into Kings Creek Station
Day 3 – Kings Canyon (Watarrka) walks and photo opportunities, Kings Creek Station tour, bush camping, and campfire dinner, sunset over the George Gill Ranges
Day 4 – Sunrise over the George Gill Ranges, Mereenie Loop Road to Hermannsburg (includes a visit to the Namatjira Family Gallery and the Silk Painters), Palm Valley through the Finke River, wild bush camping on the Finke River
Day 5 – Tnorala (Gosse Bluff), Redbank Gorge, view Mount Sonder, Glen Helen
Day 6 – Sunrise over Mount Sonder, Ormiston Pound Walk, the Ochre Pits, Ellery Creek Big Hole, Alice Springs.
