If you are travelling by car you depart Darwin to travel south east on the Stuart Highway then link to the Arnhem Highway. Aurora Kakadu is located 210km (approx 2.5 hours driving) from Darwin on the Arnhem Highway and is clearly visable from the road. It is the 1st property inside the National Park from Darwin. The highway has clearly marked road signs all the way to Aurora Kakadu. The Ghan travels from Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide to Darwin via Alice Springs. You can bring your own car on the train or alternatively hire a car in Darwin.
