| Highlights: • Sunrise at Uluru (Ayers
Rock) • Mutitjulu Walk • Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre
Rise early this morning to travel to the
Uluru sunrise viewing area. Watch the first rays of dawn set
Uluru and the Red Centre alight whilst
enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee and
biscuits. For those with a good level of fitness,
there is the opportunity to climb Uluru.
Alternatively, non-climbers can choose to take
a peaceful stroll along the Mala walk (non-guided),
which winds among the bloodwood trees alongside Uluru. After the
climb, join your AAT Kings Driver. Guide for a tour around the base of Uluru.
Travel by coach to the Mutitjulu Walk
where you will be escorted to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole.
View Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the area as your
Driver/Guide points out some native flora and explains the Aboriginal
and European history of Uluru. Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre,
where you can learn about Aboriginal culture and see Aboriginal arts and crafts,
before returning to Ayers Rock Resort. |
