Day 1: Darwin – Kakadu
Travel across Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains and deep into Kakadu National Park. Take a guided walk to view ancient Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock. After lunch join the famous Yellow Water Billabong Cruise to observe saltwater crocodiles and the colourful range of prolific bird life that this region is renowned for. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre and view the informative displays and exhibits depicting the traditions of the Aboriginal people.
Accommodation: Aurora Kakadu (Budget), Aurora Kakadu (Standard), Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel (Moderate or Superior) or Hawk Dreaming Wilderness Lodge* (Superior Wilderness), Kakadu.

Day 2: Kakadu – Darwin
This morning stop at Ubirr for a short walk to view Aboriginal rock art. Join the Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River in search of saltwater crocodiles. We have an Aboriginal guide with us and with the special permission of the local people, we will be able to go ashore in Arnhem Land. Visit the Bowali Visitor Centre. Opportunity for a scenic flight (own expense) over the Arnhem Land Escarpment. Return to Darwin this evening.

The fee is $25 per adult. You only have to pay this fee once when purchasing 2 or more Day Tours in this national park, as entry is valid for 3 consecutive days. It is an additional compulsory government charge at the time of booking and is subject to change without notice. Children 15 years and under are not required to pay the entry fee. You must carry your ticket with you every time you enter the National Park or you will be required to purchase another ticket.

Day 2: Arnhem Land – Darwin
An early start this morning as we travel by 4 Wheel Drive vehicle into Arnhem Land and the Mikinj Valley. We travel through spectacular scenery including sandstone outcrops, escarpments, forests and floodplains. Learn about traditional land ownership, bush skills and ‘bush tucker’. View Aboriginal rock art in its natural state. Most tours are accompanied by an Aboriginal guide.
